We are proud to partner with Ecofiltro's programa escolar - Agua es vida (Water for Life) - in Guatemala. A non-profit sustainable movement dedicated to provide clean drinking water to low income families in rural Guatemala. With each purchase you make you are donating clean drinking water to children in need.

Although Guatemala is a country rich in water, 95% of the rivers, wells and springs are highly contaminated. 1 in 20 kids in Guatemala dies before the age of 5 due to an intestinal infection caused by drinking polluted water.*

Ecofiltro is a filter unit produced out of 3 natural materials, clay, sawdust and colloidal silver. Together this 3 components eliminate bacteria and parasites. Clay contains micro channels which trap impurities; carbon eliminates turbidity and bad taste from unsafe water and colloidal silver neutralizes bacteria. Each Ecofiltro provides up to 20 liters per day of potable water.
